Emma

Emma
As a girl, I am extremely sore of meter reading love story in nature. Thus, I prefer Jane Austen opus as my bed story. Unexpectedly, I am crazy about it after several months reading. Janes forte is humourous commentary and her observations are so acute that she never fails to lure me to laughter when Im reading her novels, and I never enjoy much so than this one. Thats itâ€"â€"Emma.

Jane Austen began to write Emma in January of 1814 and finished it a little over a year later, in run into of 1815. At the time of completion, Austen was thirty-nine years old. Emma Woodhouse ,a wealthy childly womans schemed to match up her forward-looking, and much more poor, friend ,Miss Harriet, with the t professs trustful (and sometimes unwilling) bachelors. What was revealed, however, was not Emmas skills in match-making, but her inability to await the true feelings of those around her, as well as her own heart. Nevertheless, after being so busy managing e rattlingone elses heart, Emma did know her own.

Initially, I didnt this novel had anything different from her other romantic stories. Whereas, with reading more and more chapters, I found Emma was an utterly new heroine.

Like Jane described her at the beginning Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich, with a lucky home and happy disposition, seemed to unite some of the best blessings of earth; and had lived nearly twenty-one years in the world with very little to distress or vex her. This heroine was no thirster poor, and she wasnt longing for a rich husband, and she was also internalized and rational. I could feel this character seemed like a real somebody who because of her certain flaws. As for the hero, Mr. Knightly was Emmas guiding wildness all along, and didnt show artificially or indifferently from the beginning, compared with other male figure in Janes work. The subjects in this book were not often elegant, and certainly never lofty; but they were finished to nature, and with a precision which delighted me.
