Topic: The African American Sermonic Tradition
*My own point of examine.
In Sermons, tail fin contrasting partiallys of a sermon atomic number 18 presented. All 5 parts are s process followed and seen in our society today. African American sermons are silence very emotional and their spiritual beliefs have not faded. From the time that slavery was part of our history, till the present, African Americans have never stopped believing in immortal.
The first part states the disclaimer, in other words the preacher is only preaching what divinity is saying. By the use of nervus facialis expressions and the use of body language, as well as the glib tongue used to preach, it almost seems as though something had interpreted over the individual, as though it may seem that God is in fact the one speaking to the audience.
The second part presented in this piece, states that the main topic spoken comes straight from the bible. This leads to desire that the bible is on other words God. If not earreach to God, then follow what the bible says, because its still Gods word. Regardless of the proposition, God is speaking to his or her firm believers. These two parts are the main focus on my point of view, although the other 3 parts are also very important, such as the fact that formulaic body of the sermon.
Mainly all five parts make up my argument that no matter what you believe, if you follow/obey any of the five parts, you are still a believer of God and you follow his teachings.
Preachers are scarce the puppets that God has. I am not questioning piety however. Everyone has the right to believe what they wish, however for the sake of the paper I will think about the African Americans point of view on religion.
